Our “bracelets” were born from the desire to use materials left over from shoe manufacture in a creative way. As a result, the colours available always vary according to current production. You can wear our wristbands both plaited and unplaited. To plait your wristband, follow the instructions below:
|
|
Start by subdividing the open wristband into 3x4 (small) or 2x4 and 1x3 (big) strips. Then place the four strips on the left over the middle four strips and insert the four strips on the right between them. This will cause the leather strips to twist at the bottom. To loosen these unwanted twists, thread the bottom end of the wristband through the middle of the strips after each second plaiting motion at the upper end. The strips will still be slightly twisted. To solve the problem, overlap the strips at the upper end once more and thread the bottom end through the middle again. When you pull the bottom end through, all the twists will disappear. The plait is now either finished, or you can make more plaits as described above. Note that, in the case of a tripartite wristband, the number of links should always be divisible by three.
